Super-clean or selectively photographed?
Today’s 348 comes to us from a dealer out of south Florida — always a red flag — and is presented via Bring a Trailer.
With just 21K miles on the odometer and in honestly the best color combo for one of these, red over tan, our car looks extremely clean at first glance. And while it may truly be as clean as it appears, there are some things not yet shown in the gallery that I’d recommend investigating before bidding.
I will say this, I really appreciate a TS/TB that hasn’t had its lower body work color-matched. Not because I think it looks better that way — objectively it doesn’t — but because it’s a clue to the rest of the car’s originality.

My thoughts:
- Get paint meter readings!
- Get shots of the underside of the bumper and side skirts.
- Get closeups of the black body bits to determine real condition.
- Period correct tires are cool, but how old are they?
