1991 Ferrari 348 TB (French Market)

Sérieux?

Normally I don’t nitpick 348s with obvious flaws because, well, they’re obvious. But are they?

When I saw this car receive initial comments like “incredible” and “well loved” I felt the need to step in.

Today’s 348 is a French market example being sold by BaT power-seller 1600 Veloce. Notice the yellow fog lamps? They’re cool.

The French are known to not care for their cars and that’s blatantly obvious here. Our example is festooned to with stickers — on the paint! – as well as chips and cracks throughout the exterior.

The interior looks like it gave life to an alien “chest buster” via the driver’s air vent.

“Incredible” indeed.

Estimate: $39,999

My thoughts:

  • Who is this car for? It’ll be expensive to maintain (and no doubt get right) and it’s a mess. Why bother? Start with something better.
  • The fog lights are cool.
  • Slick roof is cool.
