They say beauty is only skin deep; not with today’s 348. This example from Bring a Trailer is unusual not only in its striking Blu Chiaro paint, but in the fact that its relatively clean interior (especially for the mileage) belies its poorly maintained exterior. Usually I find these things go hand-in-hand. Not today.

Here we have another white 348; this time a ts, and this time it’s presented by Hagerty Auctions. Somewhere in Illinois our car has a respectable 34K miles and looks fairly clean from I can gleam.

UPDATE 3/8: Seller added new pics of the underside and the right side of car claiming the there is no color mismatch – you decide. Also added clairification as to what the edge of the door cards should look like.
Today we have a fairly crisp, low miles, ‘bianco’ targa fit for the iPad generation, but with stories worthy of the Cold War generation; accidents. I’m saying it’s been in an accident.

What we have here is a 1992 European spec ts that was converted to a challenge car in France by Charles Pozzi and subsequently had a significant racing career in the Challenge series until 348s were removed post 1995.

Here we have a 1989 ts (targa), the first year of the model in can’t-go-wrong Rosso Corsa over tan with 47k miles on the odometer.
