Here we have another white 348; this time a ts, and this time it’s presented by Hagerty Auctions. Somewhere in Illinois our car has a respectable 34K miles and looks fairly clean from I can gleam.
There are lots of 348s on sale I’d like to cover on this blog but can’t, either for the lack of pictures presented or for their overall quality. This is almost one of those situations. The pictures here are quite poor, but hey, at least there aren’t very many… right? Extra warnings due to poor presentation below.

My thoughts:
- The non-factory painted lowers and the missing body line make me wonder if this car has been painted. Get meter readings!
- No under body shots is a NO-GO for me.
- Make sure the VINs all match – door jam, steering wheel, engine bay.
- Do the motorized belts work?
- Do the HVAC controls work? Heat? AC?
- Are the buttresses cracked where they meat the body? A common issue.
- Any sticky interior trim?
