I’ve been reluctant to cover this car because, honestly, I find it very triggering. Not so much because of the car itself – we’ll get to that – but more because of the dealer.
Auctioning this car on BaT is “Nexus Auto Brokers” whose limited knowledge of their lot is only outpaced by the limited worry they have for its future owner. More on that later.
To me it’s clear from the comments and the condition of the car that Nexus Auto Brokers is only in it to maximize profit at the expense of developing a positive reputation or cultivating return customers.
When sellers respond angrily to obviously knowledgeable commenters asking legitimate questions it can mean only one thing: they’re in over their head. They’ve been asked to respond to something either they’d hoped bidders wouldn’t notice or hadn’t noticed themselves. In either case, it’s a bad look.
Ok, what about the car? Well, it’s missing shoulder belts. Remember when I said this dealer doesn’t appear to care about this car’s future owner? Yeah, they’re selling a 175mph exotic with lap belts like you might find on something from the 1960s. Shameful.
Yes, some owners would disable the automatic belts on 348s by pulling a fuse; others might install racing harnesses; complete deletion is something I’ve never seen before and it is extremely dangerous.
Otherwise, it’s a dirty car with a tired interior and lots of modifications. More below.
Estimate: $64,000
