Today we present this stunningly specified spider from here in Maryland. Blu Sera over a tan and blue interior might be the best color combo one could expect to see on a 348, and it’s extremely uncommon to boot. Eye-catching without being flashy, I can imagine this color was preferred by those with mature money in 1994

Our car is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer and boasts an enviable 43K miles on the odometer. Far from a concour car (nitpicks below), this example with its various flaws and recent service should be looked at as a lovely driver and something to be enjoyed, not pampered.

Why is the paint weird here? Reflections?
Seems like a different shade of blue. Could be metal flake and angle of sun.

What on earth happened here?! The rust, the brass screw; I’ve never seen this happen.
Incorrect tool case. Should be vertical not flat.

My thoughts:

  • Some rough edges but with the higher milage nothing here is surprising, except the rusty radio surround. That’s a new one.
  • It’s missing its tonneau cover. Budget $1500 for a replacement.
  • I’m guessing it’s had paintwork in its life. Get meter readings if you care.
