UPDATE 4/2: The selling dealer notes the following regarding the seat color:
“The variation of color you see on the seats is from the Photo Booth. Strobes are used to try and add the proper amount of light in the booth”
I like this car. Not just because it’s a red/tan Spider, like mine. Or because it’s an early car, like mine. Or even because it’s well-photographed. I like it because it’s honest and seems very well-cared-for. And I don’t say that often about dealer-owned cars.
Brought to us by Bring a Trailer, this 1994 Spider has been driven, but not excessively so. I’m not saying it’s perfect — as usual niggles below – but as a driver I love it.
Estimate: $81,500
VIN: ZFFRG43A0R0096953

My thoughts:
- The paint looks really nice, apart from the issues above. Too nice? Ask for meter readings.
- Why are the seats so much darker than the rest of the tan leather? Have they been dyed?
- Get close up pics of the drier’s sill. It’s a common area for rust.
- New “triangle” trim pieces are available for anyone wanting to return them to stock.
