1994 Ferrari 348 Spider

Today’s 348 is a stunning 1994 Spider in an ultra rare, if not unique, combination of “Canna di Fucile” (metallic grey) over blue Connolly leather and has just 17,800 miles on the odometer.

Set to be auctioned by Broad Arrow at their Amelia Island event in March of 2025 — their estimates below — our car was recently sold by “wob” on Bring a Trailer in 2022 for just $88,500.

Overall I think this is a fantastic, classy, example that I’d be proud to own with the usual nitpicks below.

Estimate: $110-140k

My thoughts:

  • The patina on the tonneau cover is gorgeous.
  • Factory heat shielding on the engine lid is rare these days.
  • Sadly, the seat belt “tabs” are missing on both sides. Usually at least one is present on lower mileage cars.
  • The gear knob is non factory. These silver knobs were seen on the 456 and other models.
  • Driver’s left arm rest on their door — the scallop / cove area — looks like the vinyl is detaching.
  • The red “Ferrari” on the clutch cover is non factory and tacky, in my opinion.
  • The exhaust is non standard. Perhaps a Tubi or a Capristo.
